Solar Sonoma County Solar PV Goal

Tracking Our Progress

Our target:

We have a goal of 25 NEW megawatts of solar by March 2011 - that would supply the electricity for about 3,500 typical homes AND 50 large businesses!

We are tracking Sonoma County's progress towards the goal of 25 new Megawatts of solar right here. Come back soon to see how we're doing.

As of March 2010, we have added 13,105 Kw -- that's 13.1 Megawatts!* -- since March 1st, 2008, the date Solar Sonoma County officially started counting.

Overall, Sonoma County has a total of 30.2 Megawatts* of installed solar capacity to date.

Watch the red column to the right as we progress towards our goal.
